VERY Disappointed with Harley Davidson changes to shifters. Terrible dangerous design 1st less metal and bolt does not screw into bar. The design is such a smaller bolt from 1/4 to 3/8 with a self locking nut rubber locking (potential to melt). It will fail in several areas. The bolt is only 1/4 in and will strip. After stripping removing will be a major task. Not simple like old design. No repair on the road as it damage the nut and will have to be cut out. Weak all around in my 73 years this type of design is disastrous. When I took a National Championship drag racing motorcycles I would not race with such a poor design.
